Corey Ritter is a Partner with ARCH Venture Partners, having joined the company as an Associate in 2018. Corey identifies and evaluates new life and physical science technologies, provides operating assistance to early-stage portfolio companies, and is involved in company creation.
Corey co-founded Atlas, Scale Bio (acquired by 10X Genomics), and UltraDx, and helped form Vizgen. Corey is a director at Atlas, Elephas, Countable Labs, and Slingshot Biosciences and an observer at Vizgen, UltraDx, and Singleron Biotechnologies. He was previously a director at Quantum Circuits, Inc. (acquired by D-Wave) and an observer at 908 Devices (MASS).
Prior to ARCH, Corey was an associate with the University of Chicago Innovation Fund, a seed fund that supports and invests in scientific spinouts from the University of Chicago and Argonne National Lab. Previously, Corey was an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He holds a B.A. in Astrophysics from Princeton University and completed his M.B.A. at the University of Chicago.
